Somewhere in the triangle between Vilnius, Amsterdam and London, most likely where the folks are sweaty and the bass is cranked up, you might bump into Mamiko Motto.

The Lithuanian globetrotter, DJ and part-time vocalist has broken some of your favourite records over the past years and from her former A&R work for Kindred Spirits has endorsed the talents of Dorian Concept, Mweslee or Build An Ark.

After leaving Vilnius for Antwerp at the age of 16, followed by a two year stint in Amsterdam, Mamiko moved to London to focus on her ambitions as a DJ. Mamiko revived Hepcat Radio her radio program that she created in Antwerp on London’s NTS Radio. When not behind the decks, Mamiko produces tunes herself [check her 2009 collaborative work with Hudson Mohawke under her Wednesday Nite alias for Warp’s 20th anniversary box set], curates line-ups for festivals and compilations for labels including All City.
